Minor tweaks, modest results

Ford has announced plans to offer a special edition Fiesta Sport in Europe.

Available exclusively as a three-door, the model is distinguished by front and rear spoilers, extended side skirts, a dual exhaust system and 17-inch Panther Black alloy wheels (16-inchers on the diesel). Inside, there's heated leather sports seats (with silver contrast stitching), gloss black trim, alloy pedals and unique floor mats.

Under the hood, two engines are available. The 1.6-liter Ti-VCT produces 134 PS (99 kW / 132 hp) and 160 Nm (118 lb-ft) of torque, which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 195 km/h (122 mph). On the other hand, the 1.6-liter Duratorq TDCi has 95 PS (70 kW / 94 hp) as well as a combined fuel economy rating of 4.1 L/100km (68.9 mpg imp / 57.4 mpg US) and CO2 emissions of 107 g/km.
